Wild Goose Chase runs smoothly
   Noise rose and settled from the gaggle of 154 runners as they moved to the starting line for the Wild  Goose Chase as snowflakes reminded them it was still winter.
   The yearly gathering of snow geese inspired this annual 5K/10K walk and run. Earthbound runners/walkers have the opportunity to compete for prestige, prizes and the fun-of-it while taking in the grandeur of the airborne migration of the geese.
   “This year’s number of racers increased by a third over last year’s,” said Bobbi Killpack, event chairman.
